How does PickCheck work?
You tell us your business, city and what you do. We ask an AI assistant with live web search the questions your customers ask, such as "Who is the best plumber in Prior Lake, MN?". Then we check whether your business was named, in what position, and who was named instead, along with the reasons the assistant gave.
Which AI do you ask?
Today we ask one leading AI assistant with live web search (Kimi). We do not query ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity. Different assistants can give different answers, and answers change over time, so a PickCheck score describes what this one assistant said at one moment, not a promise about the others.
Is the free scan really free?
Yes. There is no account, no card and no email required. To keep it fair we limit how many free scans one visitor can run per day. The free scan asks 3 questions and shows your score, whether you were named, the top 3 competitors and one full sample answer.
How accurate is the score?
AI answers change from run to run and from day to day, so treat the score as a snapshot. It is most useful for spotting a clear gap: for example, being named in none of ten answers while two competitors appear in most. The paid scan asks 10 questions, which gives a steadier picture than 3.

Can you guarantee that AI will recommend me?
No, and nobody honestly can. We do not control what an AI assistant says. What you control is the information it reads about you: your website, your Google Business Profile, your reviews and your directory listings. The Fix Kit helps you make that information complete and consistent.
How do I cancel Monitor?
Open your private report link and choose Manage billing. You can cancel at any time in the Stripe billing portal, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
What do you do with my information?
We store the business details you enter, your email if you buy, and a hashed version of your IP address for rate limiting. Payments are handled by Stripe. The details are on our Privacy page.
